We need to export all the segy. There are just two surveys, and most of the lines (several hundred) are in one. When we select them all and try and export, it does about 8 lines and stops with no error. We exited out and went through all the cleanup iesx_util's. i.e. all the rebuilds, scans, extrapolates etc (10, 11, 12, 37, 38, 39) went back in and it is still doing it. We then went and choose all the lines except the one it stopped on and it stopped on the next one. If we do those two lines they work. Randomly trying subsets sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Occasionally we get the message:- CONNECTION_NOT_CREATED INVENTORY_NOT_FOUND and occasionally the same first two lines but then something else (didn't write it down and can't replicate it) also got FIELD_NOT_DEFINED : 101005022 FIELD_NOT_DEFINED : 101005022 FIELD_NOT_DEFINED : 101005022 FIELD_NOT_DEFINED : 101005022 but most of the time, we get no message, it just doesn't do anything The data seems to function in IESX fine The data seems to report fine in the data manager - seis report I have exported thousands of lines before and never seen any behaviour like this Help! -- Keith Woollard Senior Consultant GeoCom Services Australia Pty Ltd (A.B.N. 63 068 362 498) Ph 61 (08)9243 3544 fx 61 (0)8 9246 9410 Email woollard at geocom.com.au Web www.geocom.com.au From Dave at Stevens.com Thu Aug 13 10:24:12 2009 From: Dave at Stevens.com (J. Have you considered restoring again to see if something odd happen on the restore if the log file doesn't shed some light?? Also, look at the Application_Manager window (cyan colored) to see if there was a?crash when the lines stopped exporting? Dave suggest going into debug mode.??Try: setenv ADI_DEBUG 1 Helen ________________________________ From: J. D. I don't have any release notes with me here but they did seem to be directed at solving some inventory problems. There didn't appear to be any further info in any log files, and none of the suggestions worked (although I didn't try the patch Simon). We also tried share/copy to a new project, as well as backing up and restoring - all with no success. Tried restoring to our 4.3 environment and it works! Am going to send the archive to Schlumberger and see if they can replicate the problem.
