It is not a suitable medium for software training. gopal krishna wrote: > Respected Sir/Madam, > I am GopalaKrishna Kuna pursuing M.Tech(petroleum > GeoSciences) At IIT Bomabay.Could you please give me software training on > seismic interpretation in GeoFrame 4.4. > Thanking you. > _______________________________________________ > GF mailing list > GF at stevens.com > http://lists.stevens.com/mailman/listinfo/gf -- Dave Stevens Dave at Stevens.COM STEVENS.COM, Inc. 713-419-0313 Bellville, TX, USA http://www.stevens.com From brian.stevens at dataporters.com Tue Jun 22 07:21:25 2010 From: brian.stevens at dataporters.com (Brian Stevens) Date: Tue, 22 Jun 2010 07:21:25 -0500 Subject: [GF] Slow deviation survey loading Message-ID: <8CDA9211-AC54-48E6-AA59-46A943E3892D@dataporters.com> Has anyone else experienced painfully slow loading of deviation survey data? I use the same process for many projects and everything works fine (I have scripts for processing MMS data and creating a GF loadable format). With one particular project, however, I'm trying to loading [multi-UWI] deviation surveys and it's taking about 9 seconds per data point [GF "array"] to load. I've tried smaller subsets of deviations, rebuilt indexes, archive and restored the project, and still the same behavior. All DSL's have plenty of space. Anyone have any ideas? So it's taking about 9-10 seconds per deviation survey. That is indeed reasonable, though it'll still take in excess of 3.5 hours to process my file...
