Our monthly Houston Area Landmark User Group is the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

Landmark Guest entrance for parking is on City West Blvd,
Entrance Blue 2, check in w/security and signs will guide you to the meeting!
Lunch: Food will be provided! Please remember to RSVP ASAP!!
NOTE on Parking: We are trying to speed-up the security check and parking at the Landmark facility. We ask that the driver please be ready with a drivers license when met by the security guard at the complex. Having your name already on the reservation list should speed up the process greatly!

Food will be supplied, but you MUST RSVP - send email to taomarketing at lgc.com, as soon as possible, but at the latest by noon Monday, November 13, 2006, at the latest with the following information - number of attendees and for each attendee, name, company name, title, & email address.
Abstract:
Successful well planning involves input from many disciplines. Frequently, geoscientists are asked to generate a preliminary plan based on geologic objectives for the drilling community. Providing the most accurate preliminary plan assists in reducing planning cycle time. Achieving this goal requires a basic understanding of path plan design and an awareness of the tools available to assist in this process. Covered in this session will be:
· Path planning basics
· Factors impacting design
· Landmark Planning tools
We would like to express our appreciation to Landmark for providing the meeting room and the food. Without their help, we could not have a place to meet.
The steering committee is interested in any comments or suggestions you may want to provide. We are most interested in anyone willing to give a talk for the group on how they have used the Landmark software exclusively or in combination with other software to find oil and gas. The members are:
