Abstract:

Did you realize that StratAmp was not ported to R5000? Instead, PowerCalculator is Landmark's preferred utility for simple horizon calculations in both R5000 and R2003. However, that functionality is just the beginning! From horizon-based amplitude extractions through complex volumetric determinations using grids, PowerCalculator handles it all.

This presentation introduces you to this versatile tool and shows how you can easily employ PowerCalculator to extend your current workflows. Demonstrated workflows are:
1) Creating a horizon-based amplitude extraction
2) Using formulas to derive complex horizon attributes
3) Calculating volumetrics from grids
You can see how your work can be streamlined by using this single utility. And just like PowerView, the PowerCalculator utility is provided at no charge with SeisWorks and ZMAP.

So please plan on coming to this HALUG meeting or attending remotely, and find out how your Team can be using the latest Landmark technology for horizon and grid calculations.
